Lovelandholidays.com Logo - Call for Entries
LOVELAND – Engaging Loveland and the lovelandholidays.com marketing committee is hosting a competition for the design of a logo to be used on all printed and electronic material associated with a new community promotion – lovelandholidays.com.
Lovelandholidays.com will list and promote all holiday events happening in Loveland between Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s in 2008.
Artists are asked to create a logo for the lovelandholidays.com promotion using the specifications provided. The design must be suitable to be reproduced in both color and black and white print, as well as reproduced on the lovelandholidays.com website. The winner will be required to sign a release form that transfers all rights of the logo design. The competition is open to anyone in the community.
Specifications:
All submissions must be original work
Artists may submit more than one design
Design must include lovelandholidays.com
Logo must be at least 2”x 1” in size and landscape design
One camera-ready black & white and one color image must be submitted
Submissions should be 8.5” x 11” or smaller
Include name, address, phone and email address on each submission
Artists may include a short explanation of their design concept, if desired.
All submissions must be received by Friday, September 5, 5:00 p.m. The winner will be notified by Monday, September 15.

Booth Space Still Available for Corn Roast

Booth Space Still Available for Old-Fashioned Corn Roast Festival
LOVELAND – Booth space is still available for the Old-Fashioned Corn Roast Festival scheduled for August 22-23 in downtown Loveland.
Booth spaces start at $175 ($150 for Loveland Chamber of Commerce members) for a 10x10 space without electricity. Vendors are encouraged to reserve space at the festival by calling Engaging Loveland, Inc. at 720-254-8877. Applications are available at Engaging Loveland’s website www.engaginglovelandinc.org and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce website www.loveland.org
This year’s event will again feature a street dance and corn shucking contest on Friday night, a parade, amusements, Loveland’s Got Talent Contest, corn recipe contest, corn eating contest, live music and lots of corn!

Civic Center Park Closed for SummerFest in the Rockies

Civic Center Park Closed for SummerFest in the Rockies
LOVELAND – Civic Center Parking lots will be closed for public parking on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13 beginning at 6 a.m. for SummerFest in the Rockies.
Entrances into the parking lots will be closed off at 1st Street and Monroe, 2nd Street and Washington Street, 3rd Street and Washington Street, and 4th Street and Adams Street.
Washington Street will also be closed on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate the car show.
Handicap parking for SummerFest will be available in the municipal parking lot south of the lagoon. Persons needing handicap parking for the event can access the parking lot off of Washington and 2nd Street.
The library parking lot will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Saturday through 5 p.m. on Sunday. The library will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Handicap parking for the library is available and can be accessed off of 4th Street and Adams Street.
